Simon Blake
(British, b. 1965)

Simon Blake is a British born graphic designer, artist and filmmaker.  Highly sought-after in the advertising industry for his unique brand designs, illustrations and animated short films, he has done award-winning work for many of the world’s leading companies, including Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Hewlett Packard, AT&T, Chase Bank, Levi Strauss & Co., United Airlines. Sony, American Cancer Society, Intel, Disney, Crayola, Nestlé, Barnes and Noble, Hershey, Pepperidge Farm, CenturyLink, Charles Schwab, and others.   

His commercial work has been shown at Sundance, Cartoons on the Bay, Amalfi, Italy, has garnered two AICP awards and is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. 

Since living in New Orleans, his work has been commissioned by the Jazz and Heritage Festival, Crystal Hot Sauce, Entergy, and the Audubon Zoo.    

Simon’s personal artworks are elaborate, hand-cut analog collages featuring pages from antique French encyclopedias, historical books and ephemera rearranged and reimagined in wondrous and often humorous ways.
