To acquire objects of beauty, originality, quality, and lasting value. Something to arrest the eye and engage the mind.  Something to instill a sense of wonder.  To lead us to insight, illumination, and growth. Possibly even to entertain and delight us with whimsy and irreverence. To ask unanswerable questions, and then to suggest answers to those same questions.  To remind us there are infinite possibilities.  To soothe, to provoke, to inspire.  And last but not least ... to make our homes and offices look f@%#ing amazing.
